The Ragnar, Wasatch Back Relay was last month and I'm getting around to blogging about it!
Spec's:
193 miles
12 people
2 vans
30 hours (for us anyway)
Lots of sweat, carbs, and belly laugh's!
Can I just tell you how much fun we had?
First off, my Ragnar theme song this time was "SING" by the cast of GLEE
Check it out here:

Secondly, I had the best "Last Minute" van!
To make a long story short, I was kinda scrambling at the last minute to replace 2 people who at the last minute could not do it anymore. So I brought it up in one of my PUMP (toning) classes and BAM! Two crazy ladies said YEP, I'll do it!
Happiness came over me, and the excitement began! I packed, loaded up our car, told my husband that he now was the only MALE in our van of 5 ladies, and we took off to Liberty Utah to relieve our Van 1.

And here we are waiting for runner six to cross the line, so we can begin the adventure!

We ran and ran! All 12 of us get to run 3 different legs.
Mine were as follows:
Leg 1 - 5.5 Miles
Leg 2 - 5.5 (I switched with my husband, due to my injury. More on that later)
Leg 3 - 7.2 Miles
I was runner 12 and I was sooo excited to run our team in to the finish line, with one minor exception. I WAS INJURED. The whole time in fact. I went nuts at a Zumba class a month or so prior, and I wore the wrong shoes (Converse's). The two together somehow provided me with a foot injury that I haven't gotten ride of.
So I went in to it with and injury and left crying with injury (yes it's true). But that is just a side note to me because I LOVED it.
This is my 3rd Ragnar, and everytime it seems to get better.
So if/when your opportunity comes up to be crazy and run a Ragnar relay race, seriously, just say yes. Even if it is not an enthusiastic YES. You will not be sorry. Pinky Promise.
